Lipoinjections

As a plastic surgeon, there are many techniques that I can perform to augment, reduce, and improve the area of the body that the patient wants to change. Lipoinjection is one of the most popular techniques, as I use the patient's own body fat to perfect other areas of their body. Additionally, implants and protheses are not needed to make the area in question look attractive.

Lipoinjection is commonly used on the buttocks. The first step is to suck out fat from another part of the body, usually the abdomen, with a procedure that is known as a tummy tuck. When I determine how much fat is needed, my medical team and I will prepare lipid tissue through the centrifuge process with physiological solution to purify the tissue and get it ready for injection. Next, I inject the fat in the buttocks until I achieve the shape that the patient wants. I have the experience needed to pinpoint the strategic areas in the buttocks that will help them stand out without looking unnatural.

Since I am using your own fat, it won't be rejected or cause any allergies or other problems. Beside the buttocks, the most common places where I use Lipoinjections are:

Lipoinjections ProcedureThe FaceLipoinjections can be used on the forehead, cheekbones, nasolabial grooves, lips, jaw, and chin. The neck and cleavage area can be filled with lipid tissue. I can conceal expression lines with this technique. It can also be used to augment lips and reshape the chin. For people over 50 years of age, lipoinjection can improve how their skin looks.
ScarsA scar can remain too thin for the loss of fat tissue subcutaneous in the affected zone. Fat injections can also enhance the appearance of your skin. The procedure will correct depression in the affected area, and it will look natural.
In the Glutes:Fat can be injected into the buttocks either subcutaneously or intramuscularly. As I mentioned above, this technique can add volume to that area without using implants.

Approximately 20% to 30% of relocated fat is absorbed. The rest attaches to the tissue to add volume. A benefit of liposuction is that it can improve the appearance of your skin because it regenerates collagen and thickens the epidermis, making it look smoother. This is an outpatient procedure. Depending on the body part that is being operated on, the procedure can last from one to two hours. I can use either general or local anesthesia with sedatives to perform this procedure.

First AppointmentWhen you come to my office the first time, I will perform a physical evaluation and determine if your body is ready for lipoinjections. During the appointment, you can tell me what you would like to have done, and I will tell you what results I can achieve.
